2015 Jeep Patriot: The All-American SUV

America was built on the premise of equal opportunities for all. Through revolutions and civil rights movements, we have accomplished a land of free opportunity. What better way to represent that idea than to have an SUV fit for a family that not only has all the available features you love at an affordable price you’ll love even more?

The affordable quality of this 2015 model keeps going with having the capability of getting up to 30 miles to the gallon highway so that you can make it to all the dance recitals and soccer games your family requires without breaking the bank. More amazing features are available for the new model such as 2.4 liter DOHC I4 engine, a six speed automatic transmission, four-wheel disc antilock brakes, leather trimmed seats, power 6 way adjustable driver’s seat, automatic temperature control, Uconnect 230 with 6 CD slots, DVD and MP3 capabilities, Sirius satellite radio, electronic vehicle information center (EVIC), leather wrapped park brake handle and bright side roof rails for your weekend trips. Also, this model is available in 8 different colors so you can pick one that fits your unique style.

The 2015 Jeep Patriot is most definitely living up to its very American name and portrays a truly patriotic ambiance. Do not just sit bas and watch this All-American opportunity pass you by! Do what all great Americans have done and take action!

Huffines Auto Dealerships hold Ceremony for Disabled Veteran

A disabled veteran received a special four-legged gift that will change his life forever.

In a ceremony hosted by Huffines Auto Dealership in Plano on July 1, Navy veteran and Garland firefighter Devon Colbert and his family were given Johnny, an 18-month-old Goldendoodle service dog.

Colbert was critically injured in a car crash in December 2012. He suffered a dislocated neck and C5 spinal cord injury that left him initially paralyzed from the neck down. After intensive physical therapy, Colbert is now able to move his waist and arms. He has limited usage in his hands.

Colbert applied for a service dog at Patriot Paws, a non-profit organization in Rockwall, in order to be less dependent on his wife, Emily, and to be able to take better care of their two young sons.

Johnny’s been in training since he was a puppy. Colbert and Johnny have spent only a few days together to review commands and get adjusted to daily family life, but now Johnny is home for good with the Colberts.

As part of the Huffines Auto Dealerships’ 90th anniversary celebration, the family owned business wanted to help a non-profit that supports our military men and women. After much research, Huffines chose Patriot Paws.
“We wanted to do something to help our veterans this week and we’re honored to assist this group that dedicates their time and resources helping so many of our veterans,” said dealership owner Ray Huffines.

Huffines donated a 2014 Jeep Patriot to Patriot Paws on the same day that Colbert and his family received their newest family member, Johnny the Goldendoodle.

The Jeep Patriot will enable the Texas non-profit to train more service dogs and transport them to a veteran in need of a helping paw. There are currently 106 Texas veterans waiting for a service dog trained by Patriot Paws.

Every mile traveled in the Jeep Patriot means a veteran is a little closer to receiving the help they need.

Lasting Impressions and Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of Plano

A first impression is a lasting impression.  That’s why it is so critical for the first impression to be a good one.

Making an impression is making an indelible mark on someone’s brain for them to use indefinitely as their frame of reference.  It is something that a person can draw on for emotional support, decision-making or nostalgic reasons.
While drinking my morning cup of coffee, I heard a story on a morning talk show that mirrored this topic.  It was a “pull on your heartstrings” kind of story about a father who was diagnosed with a form of cancer for the third time, and the sweet gestures he had been leaving behind for his teenage daughter in the event that he isn’t around to see her grow up.

Ever since the man’s daughter started elementary school, he had been writing her notes on a napkin and leaving them in her lunchbox.  In the beginning, it was just a selfless and loving act by a father for his child.  He would write quotes, positive affirmations, Dr. Seuss nonsense with an underlying deeper meaning, etc.  When he was diagnosed with cancer the first time, his daughter started saving those notes in a scrapbook so she would always have a piece of him with her.  After the man got diagnosed for the third time, he made it his mission to write 800+ notes in advance to leave in her lunchbox for the duration of her matriculation.

This is not just the first impression that made its mark on his daughter; it will be the single most lasting impression of her lifetime.  One she will use for emotional support and nostalgia when he is no longer with her.

In the event of using first impressions for decision-making reasons, thankfully Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of Plano has made a positive impression on the metroplex.  This is especially true with their new 2014/2015 models.

The Dodge Avenger makes a noteworthy impression with its comfort, head-and-shoulder room and first-rate visibility.  The Chrysler 200 impresses with its more modern silhouette, luxurious interior and rotary-dial transmission. Lastly, the Jeep Cherokee also a standout in the line, due to its fuel-efficient acceleration and impressive upgrades, just to name a few.
The new models won’t make quite the same impression as the hand-written notes on napkins, but they are sure to be a lasting impression that will make their mark in car history.

The Huffines Auto Dealerships have been satisfying customers and forming lifetime friendships for over 90 years. They have been honored as the Auto Dealership Group of the Year, by the Consumers Choice Award for Business Excellence for the last five years. CBS Recognizes Oliver Francois, CMO of Chrysler as a Marketing Master

There’s a new program on CBS called Marketing Masters, which recently interviewed Olivier Francois, who is the Chief Marketing Officer of Chrysler Group LLC.  The program hailed Mr. Francois as a marketing genius.  He’s held the highest marketing position at Chrysler since 2009 and in that short time he’s overseen the RAM truck brands complete face-lift into the best truck on the market today.  What’s his secret?

Well, his philosophy is simple, believe in listening, sharing, and embracing new ideas from the consumers themselves.  He also believes all great marketers tell the truth.  “Tell them the truth, be truthful… be honest and straightforward.  Tricks are not cool.”  He stated in the interview, “Our secret at Chrysler has become a tagline: what we make, makes us.”

Sounds like a good way to do business.  Today’s world consumers are more educated than ever and all the facts about any vehicle on the market are just a few clicks away.  So how does one prosper in business now?  By simply being honest, not pulling punches, and spending time and resources into making the best vehicles possible.  What Chrysler makes, makes Chrysler.  The man who is hailed as a marketing genius has a very simple and honest business model that consumer’s love, and because of that he and the Chrysler Corporation stand out from the crowd.
