The Best Vehicles in History

We all love vehicles, apart from the necessity of them to get us from one place to another, they’re fun to admire and drive.  Almost everyone has a “Dream Car,” a vehicle that they’ve always wanted, but never had.  But what are the best vehicles in history?  Here’s a quick rundown of the top 5 vehicles ever made, presented by Huffines Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Plano.
5) The Homer

“The Homer” also known as “The Car Built for Homer” was designed by Homer himself when his half-brother, Herb, gave Homer a job designing what he hoped would be the next big thing in the car industry appealing to the average American.  The result was a vehicle with two bubble domes; one in the front, and one in the back for the kids which comes with optional restraints and muzzles.  According to Homer, the engine sound is supposed to make people think, “The world’s coming to an end.”  There are also three horns which play “La Cucaracha,” because Homer claims, “you can never find a horn when you’re mad.”

Unfortunately, Homer’s design was so strange and cost so much to develop that Powell Motors went out of business shortly after.
4) The Mystery Machine

It’s Mean, It’s Green, It’s the Mystery Machine.  There are many fan adaptations of the Mystery Machine in the real world, because it’s such a cool car?  I mean, who doesn’t love Scooby Doo and want to spend their time driving around in this cool van while solving mysteries of the paranormal all day?
3) The Batmobile

The Batman, also known as “The World’s Greatest Detective” has quite an assortment of “Bat-Vehicles.”  However, none are more iconic than the Batmobile.  There have been many adaptations of the famous caped crusader’s favorite vehicle throughout comics, film, and television, and they’ve all been complete with an extra dose of “Awesome.”
2) The Millennium Falcon

Capable of traveling beyond light speed, it even made The Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, and according to Lando Calrissian “She’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!”  Undoubtedly we could make a full list of just Star Wars vehicles alone, the Millennium Falcon stands out above them all and not just because it’s piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca.  If you’re into interstellar travel, it doesn’t get better than The Millennium Falcon.
1) Jeep

Okay, we maybe a little biased, but Jeep comes in at number one on our list.  Jeep is the oldest and off-road vehicle and sport utility vehicle (SUV) brand.  Jeep originally became the primary light 4-wheel drive vehicle of the United States Army and Allies during World War II, and postwar period.  Now the Jeep toughness and quality can be found in drive-ways everywhere.

Jeep tops the list because of its high quality, toughness, and years of dedication to its customers.  Plus it’s the only one on the list you don’t have to be a vigilante, paranormal investigator, or intergalactic smuggler to get your hands on.  It’s actually as easy as visiting the friendly professionals at Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at 4500 West Plano Parkway in Plano, Texas or by calling 972-867-6000 and you could be driving the best vehicle in history, today!
