2021 Jeep Wrangler

In an automotive world where vehicles seem to be getting more the same and formulas get copied repeatedly, the iconic Jeep Wrangler stands alone as an unapologetic off-roader.  Its main mission is to bring on those wide smiles in the Wrangler's owners face.  Just ask one and the bet is on that the response will be...” it’s just a Jeep thing”.

Don't believe it, then go ahead and take a test drive in the 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the friendly folks at Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Plano located at 4500 West Plano Parkway in Plano, Texas or by calling the dealership at 972.867.6000 and find out for yourself if it meets your expectations.

The Wrangler is the proven off the beaten path go-anywhere vehicle. Its roots go back to World War 11 with the slotted grille and round headlights. Continual improvements have kept it both relevant and the top off-roader in the modern world. No wonder the Wrangler is so much in demand and carries a very high resale value.

As stated the 2021 Wrangler excels in off road creds and also an enjoyable daily driver on the asphalt.  It uses a rugged body-on-frame chassis and the only real SUV that uses both front and solid rear axles that makes it such a champion in tough terrain. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is available with two or four doors and all models come with a soft fabric top that can be removed easy along with the doors for that open-air fun as you know in the Wrangler world that less is more.

The new Wrangler's interior is more comfortable, materials are nicer and has the latest Uconnect touchscreen user friendly infotainment setups.  Hardtops are also available as well as a choice of many powerplants.

The base standard engine is the tried and true V6 with a 6-speed stick. Other choices include a feisty turbocharged 4 cylinder, V6 with hybrid assist and a strong turbodiesel V6.  New for 2021 is the very aggressive V8 powered Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Wrangler 4x4e plug-in hybrid.  All these Wranglers use the smooth shifting 8-speed automatic.

Perhaps the biggest news is the Wrangler 392 four door model that punches out 470 horses with its 6.4-liter V8 and an awesome 470 lb-ft of dirt grabbing torque.  That setup will put you at 60mph in just a blink over four seconds and sounding so great in the journey.  The plug-in Hybrid is also a strong and efficient Wrangler as it pairs a turbo 4 engine with two electric motors that creates 375 horses and a 50 mpg equivalent.

Also new for 2021 is all V6 Wranglers with an automatic get the eTorque system and an 80th Anniversary edition becomes available.  You still get nearly 11 inches of ground clearance and up to 30 inches of water fording that can take you places other four-wheelers fear to tread.

This JL Wrangler really comes to life when the pavement ends. No time like the present to test one out as life is just too short not to.
